Neighbor 2 Neighbor operates the Pendleton Warming Station,
Day Center and Veda's Breakfast.
The Warming Station provides emergency shelter for those without a home when temperatures fall below 32 degrees.
The Warming Station is located at 116 SE 12th Street. Intake is between 6:30 and 9:00 PM.
The Day Center provides a warm place to stay in the
winter between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM
when the weather is very cold, and a cooling station
in the summer beetween 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM when temperatures
are extrememly hot. Day Center personnel help with job searches
and finding support services appropriate to the need.
The Day Center is located in the basement of the First United
Methodist Church at the corner of SE 2nd and Emigrant.
Veda's Breakfast is served every Sunday between 8:00 and 9:00 AM in the basement of the First United Methodist
Church at the corner of SE 2nd and Emigrant. All are welcome.
